For the maintenance of integrity of dental arches, the preservation of tooth vitality is very important. If a tooth is damaged by bacterial attack or certain other reason, a dentist has to make decisions about what procedure should be adopted and this depends upon the extent of pulpal damage [1]. If damage is of less extent, i.e. when coronal pulp is damaged due to caries, traumatic injury to the tooth and other iatrogenic causes, the preferred method in such cases is pulpotomy.
